Job summary

Verify Europe is seeking a First Article Inspector/FAI Runner to support the FAI process by coordinating aerospace components, inspection documentation, and records throughout manufacturing and quality departments.

The role requires knowledge of AS9100/AS9102, experience in aerospace manufacturing, and the ability to prepare FAIRs, maintain traceability, and track progress in ERP/MRP and QMS systems.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AS9100 quality systems.
• Understanding of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience compiling FAIs/FAIRs.
• Understanding of document control and traceability requirements.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Previous experience in a Quality department.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite aerospace components through the First Article Inspection process.
• Prepare and organise First Article Inspection packs per AS9102 requirements.
• Track FAI progress and update relevant systems and stakeholders.
• Verify part identification, revision status, and traceability information.
• Maintain accurate records within ERP, MRP, and quality management systems.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, aerospace regulations, and customer requirements.

First Article Inspector/FAI Runner The FAI Runner is responsible for supporting the First Article Inspection (FAI) process by coordinating the movement of aerospace components, inspection documentation, and associated records throughout the manufacturing and quality departments.

First Article Inspector/FAI Runner Requirements

• First Article Inspector / FAI Runner must have knowledge of AS9100 quality systems.
• First Article Inspector / FAI Runner will have a understanding of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
