A leading technology firm in the UK is seeking a Firmware Engineering Team Lead to guide the design and development of firmware products for emergency and safety vehicle equipment, and electric vehicles. The role requires proven expertise in embedded C programming and leadership of engineering teams across multiple locations. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience and a strong background in firmware design and development, ensuring technology launches meet project deadlines and budgets.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years’ practical engineering experience, including at least 3 years with embedded C programming.
Extensive knowledge of microcontroller and peripheral driver firmware design.
Demonstrated experience in new product innovation and development.
Responsibilities
Oversee the strategic deployment of technology and systems architecture.
Contribute to the development and testing of new firmware products.
Manage, develop, and evaluate the performance of the Firmware Team.
Analyse current engineering processes and implement improvements.
