Job description

My client, a global provider of complex mechatronic systems, seeks an experienced Firmware Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary engineering team, where you'll work on a mix of brand new product innovation as well as enhancing existing systems.


You'll be responsible for:

  1. Developing firmware for time-critical robotic systems
  2. Enhancing existing systems including optical and magnetic measurement
  3. Improving security features to protect against physical and digital threats
  4. Analyzing customer data to identify and solve complex technical issues
  5. Taking ownership of specialized components within their proprietary system

Key Technologies:

  1. C/C++ programming in embedded environments
  2. ARM-based processors
  3. Image processing and analysis
  4. Mechatronic systems
  5. Robotic control mechanisms

Required Experience:

  1. Strong background in embedded systems
  2. Proven experience working on mechatronic/robotic devices
  3. Computer Science or Electronic Engineering degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with image processing systems
