Working for a well-established property maintenance company dedicated to enhancing the safety and security of domestic properties across the East Midlands. We take pride in providing expert fire door installation and maintenance services to protect families and homes.

Monday- Friday 40 hours per week- long term work.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Door Carpenter to join our team in the East Midlands. As a Fire Door Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring residential properties are equipped with effective fire doors, providing an added layer of safety and protection to our community.

BONUS INCENTIVE:

If you are able to fit 2 pre hung doors per day the client will pay 12 hours for the day rather than 8, at £23

So you will earn £276 for the day if bonus incentive is met.

Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and install fire doors in domestic properties.

Repair and maintain existing fire doors to meet safety standards.

Conduct inspections to identify potential fire door hazards and recommend solutions.

Collaborate with the project team to ensure precise and secure installations.

Ensure compliance with building codes and fire safety regulations.

Keep accurate records of all work completed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a carpenter, with a focus on fire door installation.

In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations and industry best practices.

Strong attention to detail and precision in carpentry work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Relevant certifications and qualifications are a plus.

A valid driver's license.

Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height- please note we can put you through these courses.

You will be required to attend an interview and a trial day on a test door to ensure you are competent.
