Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Systems Technician to join our fire protection team. You will install, commission, service and maintain fire alarm and suppression systems across commercial, industrial and residential sites, ensuring compliance and reliability.

You will work with Gent, Advanced, Kentec and other leading manufacturers, performing PPMs, fault finding and system upgrades while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience within the fire protection industry.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, servicing and fault finding.
• Good understanding of BS 5839 and relevant industry standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings and system documentation.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence and strong communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Install, commission, service and maintain fire alarm systems in line with BS 5839.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs.
• Programme and configure fire alarm control panels and networked systems.
• Complete upgrades, modifications and remedial works.
• Service and test gaseous and water mist fire suppression systems.
• Attend reactive call-outs and support commissioning/decommissioning activities.
• Conduct site surveys and technical assessments and provide customer support.
