Overview

Are you an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in fire suppression systems? We are partnering with a well-established fire protection company that is expanding its team and seeking a Mechanical Fire Suppression Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. This role is site-based on a power station.

Responsibilities
  • Install and commission mechanical fire suppression systems in line with relevant standards
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance and inspections
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry best practice
  • Participate in the on-call rota (1 week on/off), site-only
  • Work closely with clients and site teams to deliver high-quality service
  • Prepare reports and documentation following visits
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience working with mechanical fire suppression systems
  • Strong understanding of relevant fire protection standards and regulations
  • CSCS/ECS card and full UK driving licence
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
