Falck Fire Services UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Watch Manager to lead a firefighting team at our site. You will supervise the watch, manage duty allocations and ensure readiness of equipment and personnel.

The role requires Civil Aviation Authority qualifications, security clearance, and a track record in leadership, training delivery and incident command. You will drive training, safety compliance and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Must have completed the Crew/Watch Manager Portfolio or demonstrate relevant experience and training certificates.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Full UK Driving Licence holder.
• Meets Civil Aviation Authority, Company medical and physical standards.
• Security checks and references for Airside and Site Clearance.
• Strong leadership, tact and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Fire experience.
• CAA Approved Crew Commander Incident Command or Supervisor Certificate.
• Nationally recognised assessor/trainer qualifications.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake day-to-day supervisory responsibility for the watch, station cleaning and watch administration.
• Control and supervise the use of fire appliances in emergencies and provide assistance as required by the Officer in Charge.
• Identify training needs; supervise drills and lectures to improve firefighter skills.
• Ensure continuation training follows the station training programme.
• Maintai n PPE to manufacturer standards and ensure it is clean and presentable.
• Maintain records of watch training and crewing levels.
• Lead team building, motivation and discipline as part of line management.
• Conduct educational tours of the Fire Station for visitors.
• Ensure personnel are trained in site topography and risks within buildings.
• Carry out other duties as reasonably requested by fire service management.
