Protec Fire and Security Group is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service & Remedial Engineer to cover commercial, industrial, and secure sites across the region. You will service, test, fault-find and carry out remedial repairs on a range of life-safety systems, working with a supportive team and ongoing development opportunities.

The role involves regular travel to diverse sites, including prisons, and requires eligibility for prison and security clearances.

Formación

• Experience as a fire sprinkler service engineer is essential.
• Strong practical knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and equipment.
• Proven experience in fault finding and remedial repairs.
• Experience servicing and maintaining sprinkler, water mist, fire hose reel, dry riser and hydrant installations.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Service, test and maintain fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose faults, identify defects and recommend solutions.
• Complete remedial repairs and replace defective components.
• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Identify additional remedial works and provide accurate details of work required.
• Travel to customer sites, including high-security locations.
• Test systems in line with standards and manufacturer requirements.
• Complete service reports and maintain records.
