Fire Sprinkler Estimator - Crawley - £70,000

I am currently representing a well-established fire specialist company, which offers design, installation, and maintenance services to clients across central London. Due to growth, they are seeking a commercial fire sprinkler estimator to join their team.

Salary Package:

• £50,000 - £70,000
• Company Vehicle or Car Allowance
• 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
• Working hours: 8:30 am – 5 pm
• Hybrid working – WFH opportunities
• System training provided

Area of Cover:

• London and surrounding counties

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
• Review technical project requirements
• Prepare cost estimates and proposals
• Measure and quantify sprinkler heads, pipework, etc.
• Conduct site surveys as needed
• Assess contract values
• Send inquiries to supply chain
• Prepare tender documents, presentations, and submittals
• Mentor trainees
• Be familiar with basic LPCB regulations
• Potential managerial responsibilities based on experience
• This role can be hybrid, but attendance at the office at least 4 days a week is required for the senior estimator

Requirements:

• Experience in the construction industry with knowledge of MEP services
• Previous senior sprinkler system estimator or similar role
• Minimum 5 years’ experience on commercial sprinkler projects
• LPCB qualifications are highly advantageous
• Proficiency in CAD software preferred
• Familiarity with BS EN 12845 standards
