A leading fire protection solutions provider is seeking a Service Engineer for a regional role in Scotland. The individual will be responsible for servicing valve sets and performing flow tests on fire pumps. Qualifications

  • Must have a full UK driving license for regional travel.

Location: Ideally you will be based in the Central Belt of Scotland

This is a great opportunity for an individual interested in entering or returning to the sprinkler industries as a Service Engineer.

What you will be doing

  1. Responsible for PPM and small works projects across a few buildings
  2. Servicing all types of valve sets
  3. Carrying out 5 point flow tests on fire pumps

What we will need from you

  1. Experience in servicing all types of the following valve sets: Wet, dry, alternate, deluge and pre-Action (essential)
  2. Experience of carrying out 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps and general service checks (essential)
  3. Experience of Plumbing / Piping Knowledge & fault finding on sprinkler systems (essential)
  4. Must have a full UK driving license able to cover a regional role (essential)
  5. Previous experience gained within Commercial / Industrial buildings environment (desirable)
  6. Experience in small works install (desirable)
  7. Experience and understanding of electronic reporting (desirable)
