Job Opportunity: Smoke Control & Fire Damper Engineer

We have an exciting position with our client, a leading manufacturer of ventilation and indoor climate systems. The role offers a basic salary of up to £36,000, door-to-door travel pay, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), and opportunities for progression and career development.

Our client has over 50 years of expertise in manufacturing fire safety and ventilation equipment, specialising in fire dampers and smoke control systems for commercial buildings.

This is a remote role covering the M4 corridor (Berkshire, Wiltshire, Bristol, etc.), involving Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) on fire dampers and smoke control systems in office buildings, schools, and hospitals. Full training will be provided on advanced control systems, including panel maintenance and remedial works on controls and failed dampers.

Job Requirements

• Strong background in the ventilation industry, particularly duct work, fire dampers, and smoke control systems
• Experience in maintenance and repairs of fire dampers and smoke control systems
• Living within a commutable distance of the M4
• Full UK driving licence
• Additional knowledge of smoke control panels is desirable but not essential
