Job Description:
Job Purpose

To be the technical specialist for designated stores responsible for undertaking first call response to Fire, CCTV, EAS, Access Control, PA, Automatic Pedestrian Gates.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Undertake maintenance and repairs in accordance with KPIs set by the customer, including response, repair, first fix, and closure.
  2. Ensure all planned, reactive, and statutory works for CCTV engineers comply with contractual obligations as per the CityFM Bookcase.
  3. Complete PPM works within agreed timescales, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and follows procedures.
  4. Respond promptly to service requests from the Helpdesk during working hours and on-call. Out-of-hours responses will be referred to specialists.
  5. Order parts as needed, ensure prompt fitting upon delivery, and chase outstanding parts not received within 5 days.
  6. Complete all required paperwork and undertake surveys as requested to measure service performance.
  7. Regularly communicate with the Duty Manager during store visits regarding repair and maintenance issues.
  8. Ensure all tools and equipment are available and in good condition for repairs and maintenance.
  9. Carry out Fire PPM visits to BS5839 standards.
  10. Ensure fire alarm systems comply with BS 5839 and report any defects.
  11. Be aware of relevant regulations and codes of practice.
  12. Notify the helpdesk of procedural task conditions upon completion of works.
  13. Conduct surveys and complete reports as required by supervisors or technical specialists.
