Job summary

Utilise Recruitment is seeking a Fire & Security Supervisor to oversee fire safety, security and compliance maintenance across a large residential portfolio in North London. The role blends leadership with hands-on technical oversight and strong contractor management to ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers, drive performance, and engage with clients to maintain high standards while working in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising fire and/or security maintenance operations.
• Experience leading engineers, field teams, or contractors.
• Strong knowledge of fire detection and life safety systems.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
• Fire industry qualifications (FIA or equivalent).
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers and field supervisors to deliver maintenance programmes.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Coordinate contractors, ensure safety and quality.
• Monitor performance against service standards.
• Support scheduling and resource planning.
• Maintain records and compliance documentation.
