Job summary

Jackson Fire & Security is seeking a Fire & Security Systems Engineer to service and support client installations in the Ripon and Harrogate areas. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with a package including a company van, laptop and mobile phone, and ongoing training and development.

Salary in the region of £30,000 to £33,000, with a bonus and on target earnings of £42,000+; starting level depends on experience, and a permanent contract is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience gained servicing or providing engineering support in the electrical industry or similar.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage own workload with minimal supervision.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Due to the nature of the business, successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory DBS and BS7858 checks.

Responsibilities

• Field-based role supporting clients in Ripon, Harrogate and surrounding areas.
• Install fire extinguishers and service large commercial fire or intruder alarm systems.
• Possibly CCTV or access control system work.
• Deliver superb customer service as the face of the business.

No two days are the same for our Security and Fire Alarm Engineers, but one thing is for certain - they're all busy days! One day you could be out installing fire extinguishers, and the next you might be servicing a large commercial fire or intruder alarm system. Or even perhaps a CCTV or access control system. But one thing that will remain constant in your role is you'll always be the face of our business and understand how vital it is to deliver superb customer service.
