A security and fire solutions provider in Tees Valley is seeking a Service Engineer to install and service fire extinguishers and alarm systems. Overview

To support your background and experience, you'll receive tailored training and guidance to ensure you have the knowledge and skills to become a fully-fledged Security and Fire Alarm Engineer. One day you could be out installing fire extinguishers, and another day you might be servicing a large commercial fire or intruder alarm system, or perhaps a CCTV or access control system. You will be the face of our business and will deliver superb customer service.

We offer a wide range of solutions from fire extinguishers through to large commercial installations, as well as installation and maintenance services.

Candidates with the relevant experience or job titles (e.g., Fire Alarm Systems Engineer, Security Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer, Technical Systems Engineer, Electrical Engineer) will also be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Field-based role supporting clients in Middlesbrough and the surrounding areas.
  • Install and service fire extinguishers and large commercial fire or intruder alarm systems.
  • Potentially work with CCTV or access control systems.
  • Represent the company and deliver a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience gained servicing or providing engineering support in the electrical industry or similar, or currently a Service Engineer in the fire and security industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage own workload with minimal supervision.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Due to the nature of the business, successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory DBS and BS7858 checks.
