Job summary

Brook Street is recruiting on behalf of a client in Belfast for a Fire & Security Systems Engineer to join their growing team. You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault finding of a wide range of fire alarm and electronic security systems.

You'll ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and compliant with current regulations. Working across various sites, you will deliver professional, reliable service while keeping systems fully operational.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Fire & Security Systems Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proven experience installing, servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• BFPSA, FIA or BS5839 training/certification.
• Knowledge and experience of CCTV and/or Access Control systems.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain fire alarm and security systems across client sites.
• Carry out fault finding and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Participate in an on-call rota and adapt to flexible hours.

The Role

As a Fire & Security Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault finding of a wide range of fire alarm and electronic security systems. You'll ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, in compliance with current industry regulations, and that all required certification is completed accurately.

Working across a variety of customer sites, you'll deliver a professional, reliable service while ensuring all systems remain fully operational and compliant.

Systems & Equipment

You'll have the opportunity to work with a range of industry-leading products, including:

• Apollo fire detection systems
• Fire alarm control panels including Advanced, Morley, C-TEC, Kentec, Ampac and Gent
• CCTV systems
• Access Control systems

Criteria

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Fire & Security Systems Engineer or in a similar role
• Proven experience installing, servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
• BFPSA, FIA or BS5839 training/certification
• Knowledge and experience of CCTV and/or Access Control systems
• A full UK driving licence

You'll also be required to participate in an on-call rota, so flexibility outside of normal working hours is essential.
