Job summary

Trinity Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to service, maintain and support a diverse portfolio of commercial fire and security systems across Reading. You will diagnose faults, carry out planned preventative maintenance and deliver compliant engineering solutions with a focus on customer service.

You'll be supported by dedicated Service Coordinators and manufacturers' training opportunities, with an emphasis on career progression and a balanced regional role with limited

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing fire alarm and/or electronic security systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good knowledge of relevant British Standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong technical understanding with a focus on electrical safety.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits on fire and security systems.
• Diagnose faults and deliver effective, compliant solutions.
• Complete minor remedial works and small-scale installations.
• Provide professional technical advice and updates to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant standards and company procedures.
