Fire & Security Service Engineer — Install & Maintain

Job summary

EDSB Compliance Solutions is a national provider of Fire & Security, Electrical, Mechanical and Building Services. The Service Engineer role involves maintaining Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and related safety systems across the country.

You will perform fault finding, small installations, system commissioning and client handovers with a focus on quality and safety. Working hours are 08:30 to 17:00 with a 30 minute lunch, and salary discussions occur at interview.

Qualifications

• Proven background in electrical and mechanical installations within the Fire and Security sector.
• Experience with Fire Extinguishers is required.
• Network/IP based product experience is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills for a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line support for fault finding and rectification.
• Complete small works installations.
• Commission and handover of systems with client demonstrations.
• Complete SSAIB documentation and paperwork as required.
• Be part of an On Call Rota for OOH support.
• Carry out installations and servicing of multi-discipline systems.
