Job summary

SER Limited is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to service, maintain and fault-find fire and electronic security systems across commercial sites within the M25 Corridor. You will handle alarms, CCTV, intruder and access control, ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction.

The role offers a competitive salary (£40,000 - £47,000 DOE) with overtime, bonuses, and a company vehicle, plus 25 days holiday.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer.
Strong technical experience across fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and/or access control.
Solid servicing, maintenance and fault-finding experience.
Experience with Axis, Hanwha, Galaxy, Texecom and Paxton is advantageous.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Professional, customer-focused approach.
Excellent communication skills.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Servicing and maintaining fire alarm, CCTV, intruder alarm and access control systems.
Carrying out fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs.
Completing planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits.
Carrying out small works, upgrades, modifications and system expansions where required.
Working with systems from Axis, Hanwha, Galaxy, Texecom and Paxton.
Providing a professional and customer-focused service.
Managing workload and working independently on site.
