Job summary

SER (Staffing) Ltd is seeking a Fire and Security Service Engineer to service and maintain a range of fire and security systems across commercial properties in the NG postcode area and surrounding East Midlands.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot faults, complete service reports, and build strong relationships with customers and site contacts while ensuring compliance and high service standards. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of Fire & Security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder/Fire alarms).
• Experience with fire & security systems in a commercial setting.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Willingness to travel across NG postcode area and surrounding East Midlands.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain fire and security systems across commercial properties in the NG postcode area.
• Ensure systems are safe, secure and compliant.
• Troubleshoot and repair to minimise disruption.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits.
• Complete service reports and system documentation.
• Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts.
