Job summary

GET Staff is seeking a Repairs Engineer to cover North/North West. The role focuses on reactive maintenance across fire, security and electrical systems, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, CCTV and access control.

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites are required. The successful candidate will carry out fault-finding, repairs and routine servicing, with the opportunity for career development and a permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Experience in repairs, service or maintenance engineering.
• Experience with fire alarms, emergency lighting, CCTV, warden call, security or door entry systems.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel between sites and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Attend reactive maintenance callouts and identify faults across systems.
• Repair and maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
• Work on CCTV, warden call, security, access control and door entry systems.
• Carry out fault-finding and troubleshooting to identify effective solutions.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
