Job Description:

Fire & Security Minor Works Engineer - Opportunities Available UK Wide

Marlowe Fire & Security, a specialist business within Marlowe Fire and Security Group, is looking to expand its team with an experienced Fire & Security Minor Works Engineer.

Salary Grades:

• Grade 7: Basic Salary £37,384 - £44,491
• Grade 6: Basic Salary £36,075 - £41,491
• Grade 5: Basic Salary £34,645 - £39,092
• Grade 4: Basic Salary £31,565 - £35,492

Positions involve working on small projects with CCTV, Access Control, Intruder, and Fire Alarm Systems, collaborating with the Minor Works / Installations Team from inception to completion. Responsibilities include:

• Liaising with Lead Engineer on troublesome sites
• Working with subcontractors and clients
• Maintaining Fire & Security Systems in your region
• Planning site visits and communicating with customers
• Supporting team with other tasks
• Occasional out-of-area work and supporting other engineers
• Responding to routine/reactive calls
• Managing stock levels
• Attending training and team meetings
• Identifying personal development needs

Our Systems:

• Intruder: Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier, Risco
• CCTV: Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Analogue Systems
• Access Control: Paxton, PAC, Salto

Candidate Requirements:

• Knowledge of Fire and Security Systems
• Minimum 2 years installation experience
• Technical background in electrical/electronic industry
• Customer-facing experience preferred
• Industry standards knowledge and ability to commission systems
• Self-motivated, organized, and computer literate
• Full UK Driving Licence
