Job summary

GET Staff in Bristol is seeking a Fire & Security Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join a growing team across the South West and M4 Corridor. The role requires at least 5 years’ experience in fire and security, with commissioning and handover expertise and BS5839 knowledge.

You will install, commission, test and hand over Fire, CCTV, Intruder and Access Control systems, managing on-site client expectations and delivering demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in fire and security.
• Ability to install and commission across fire and security systems.
• BS5839 knowledge and relevant qualifications.
• Strong Network/IP product knowledge and manufacturer training certifications.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, test and handover Fire, CCTV, Intruder and Access Control systems.
• Execute projects from initial installation through to final commissioning and client handover.
• Manage client and contractor expectations on-site through strong customer-facing communication.
• Deliver demonstrations and training to clients.
• Integrate detection and CCTV with other security disciplines.
• Complete project paperwork and CRM documentation accurately.
• Manage time to complete works per drawings and specifications.
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment to high standards.
• Adhere to Health & Safety requirements.
