Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd in Bury, Greater Manchester, is recruiting a Fire & Security Estimator to join the commercial team. You will prepare detailed estimates for a wide range of fire and security projects, working closely with customers, engineers and suppliers to secure new business and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Fire & Security Estimator or similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Office packages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and quotations for fire and security systems.
• Interpret technical specifications, drawings and tender documents.
• Conduct site surveys when required.
• Price projects including Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder alarms, Access control, Emergency lighting.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for competitive pricing.
• Produce tender submissions and supporting documentation.
• Assist with project handover and value engineering opportunities.
