Job summary

Haitch Recruitment is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer for the West Midlands to install, service, and maintain fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control across multiple sites. You’ll diagnose faults, complete digital job sheets, and provide professional customer support while working safely to industry standards.

You’ll enjoy a competitive salary (£35,000–£39,000), a company van and fuel card, overtime, pension, ongoing training, PPE, and generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with fire and security systems.
• Strong fault-finding skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Working on intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
• Completing digital job sheets and reports.
• Providing friendly, professional customer service.
• Working safely and in line with current industry standards.
