Job summary

Tyler Mason Consultants is seeking a Fire and Security Service Engineer to cover Southampton and the surrounding Hampshire region. The role involves delivering fire and security maintenance and reactive support, with a focus on Fire Alarm and Intruder Alarm PPM visits.

The position targets engineers with experience across fire systems (Advanced Electronics, Apollo) and security systems (Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom), with desirable knowledge of NSP/Paxton and Hikvision.

Qualifications

• Experience of fire systems: Advanced Electronics, Apollo.
• Experience of security systems: Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom.
• Desirable: Access Control – NSP, Paxton; CCTV – Hikvision.

Responsibilities

• Support the successful delivery of fire and security maintenance and reactive maintenance.
• Be an all-round engineer with good knowledge of both Fire and security systems.
• Primarily undertake Fire Alarm and Intruder Alarm PPM visits.
• Provide attendance for reactive call outs for fire, intruder and security systems when required.
• Sites are predominantly public sector buildings (schools, colleges, libraries) with coverage also for private education and healthcare.
