Job summary

FS Recruitment Services is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to join a Swindon-based company. You will deliver installation and servicing across intruder alarms, CCTV, and fire systems.

The role requires diagnosing and repairing equipment, strong client-facing communication, and a readiness to travel to London up to five times per month. A FIA Level 3 qualification is desirable; full training can be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fire and security installation and servicing (intruder alarms, CCTV, fire systems).
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve system faults efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and professional client-facing manner.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• FIA Level 3 qualification (desirable, training available if not held).
• Willingness to travel into London 5 times per month.

Responsibilities

• Install and service intruder alarms, CCTV and fire systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults to ensure safety and reliability.
• Travel to client sites, including London up to five times per month.
