Job summary

PRS LTD is seeking a qualified Fire and Security Engineer in Leeds/West Yorkshire to perform PPM and reactive maintenance on fire alarms, CCTV, access control and door systems for commercial estates. A company van is provided, with on-call 1 in 8 (£130 standby) and overtime opportunities.

The role requires experience with fire and security systems, knowledge of Fire and Security standards, and a strong diagnostic ability. 25 days holiday plus statutory entitlements are included.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with fire/security systems.
• High level knowledge of relevant Fire standards.
• High level knowledge of relevant Security standards.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Valid full driving license.
• Experience in FM/building services environments.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to diagnose and solve faults.
• Take responsibility for running technical performance of critical equipment.
• Provide technical guidance to staff and customers.
• Ensure work on site conforms to company, customer and legal standards.
• Manage delivery of the contract in terms of cost, quality and timeliness.
