Job summary

Corrigenda is recruiting a Fire & Security Engineer to serve Hampshire and surrounding areas. The role covers planned and reactive tasks across education, private and public sites, with flexible hours and inclusion on an out-of-hours rota.

The candidate will work on fire, intruder, access control and CCTV systems, ensuring safety and compliance while delivering high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BS5839-1:2025 knowledge is essential.
• PD6662 knowledge is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ability to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation.
• Full driving licence is essential.
• Ability to satisfy BS7858 and enhanced DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and fault diagnostic work to various Fire panels and Intruder panels.
• PPMs on Intruder, Fire, EML, Access Control and CCTV.
• Carry out small works/installs when required.
• Participation of the out of hours call out rota.
• Work flexible hours to suit business requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, other engineers, end users on site and public at all times.
• Collaborate with other engineers and site staff to arrange site access to required working areas.
• A flexible approach to supporting other resources as required.
