Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to service, maintain and repair fire and security systems across Hastings and surrounding areas. You will work on alarms, CCTV, access control and related equipment on a variety of commercial and domestic sites.

You will oversee junior engineers and apprentices, travel across the south coast, and enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with an on-call rota. A full UK driving licence and relevant qualifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience with fire detection, CCTV, alarms and access control systems.
• Desirable: installations, commissioning and servicing on fire extinguishers.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Live within commutable distance of Hastings for occasional visits.
• Desirable manufacturer training qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Completing servicing, maintenance and emergency repairs on fire and security systems including fire alarms, CCTV systems, intruder alarms, and access controls.
• Following up with remedial small works that have been highlighted during routine servicing.
• Travelling to both domestic and commercial client sites across the south coast.
• Overseeing junior and apprentice engineers, and providing technical assistance where needed.
