A well-established fire and security company is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join its Brighton-based team. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned maintenance, fault finding, and remedial works in line with British Standards.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding service outcomes and next steps.
  • Manage van stock to maximise first-time fixes.
  • Complete documentation accurately and professionally.
  • Support junior engineers and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs and participate in the on-call rota.
Ideal Candidate
  • Proven experience in fire and security service engineering.
  • Strong understanding of BS5839, SP203, SSAIB standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points).
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to complete one).
