Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer covering the Southwest and Midlands. The role focuses on commissioning and small works within Fire & Security, with no on-call requirement and regional travel from Swindon to Reading.

Salary ranges £35,000–£42,000 with overtime and Benefits. Based around the M4 corridor; Bristol area also considered. Pension, health plan and other perks included. You will progress into commissioning and small works projects over time.

Qualifications

• Solid experience within Fire & Security industry.
• Proven commissioning experience.
• Strong background in small works and maintenance.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Comfortable working independently and travelling regionally.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out commissioning of Fire & Security systems.
• Complete small works, upgrades and system modifications.
• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance.
• Fault finding and diagnosing system issues.
• Complete commissioning, service and project documentation.
• Liaise directly with customers and site contacts.
• Travelling across the Southwest and Midlands as required.
• Work independently and manage your own workload.
