Triple Star Fire and Security Limited in London and the Home Counties invites applications for a FESS Apprentice. You will learn through college-based study while gaining hands-on experience with our engineers on fire alarm and security systems.

The programme covers electrical fundamentals, industry standards and health and safety, with a clear pathway to Level 3 FESS qualification and a long-term career in fire and life-safety.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in engineering, fire safety, or electrical/electronic systems.
• Enthusiastic, reliable and keen to learn a trade.
• Good communication skills and team-focused attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
• PC literate — comfortable with tablets and reporting apps.

Responsibilities

• Support the installation, servicing and maintenance of fire alarm and security systems.
• Assist engineers with cable installation, device mounting, fixings, and basic system setup.
• Learn safe working practices, electrical principles and relevant British Standards.
• Attend college to complete the theoretical elements of the apprenticeship.
• Complete coursework, logbooks and assessments to achieve recognised qualifications.
• Maintain a professional attitude with clients and colleagues.
• Follow all company procedures and health and safety guidance.
