Company Description

Here at Vipond, we have an opportunity for a Fire Sales / Estimator Engineer to join our Sales Team working on Special Projects around the UK.

SALARY: Up to £65,000 (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities

• Build successful customer relationships, achieve sales targets, and grow business profitably by winning project opportunities with new and existing customers.
• Focus on sales and estimating of Special Risk projects.
• Carry out outline design and costing to meet customer specifications, firefighting codes, and insurer requirements.
• Research market and competitors using sources like Barbour ABI to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Understanding of Fire Protection systems such as Sprinkler Systems, Deluge Water Spray Systems, Foam Systems, Hydrants, Hose Reels, Dry Risers, Fire Pumps, Fire Tanks & Hydrant Ring Mains, Water/Foam Cannons.
• Technical knowledge and experience working to NFPA / FM Global Guidelines.
• Practical experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, & Canute FHC is beneficial.
• Experience in Power Generation, Energy from Waste, Waste Recycling, Petrochemical, or Industrial environments is highly advantageous.
