Location: London, Maidstone, Chichester, Peterborough, Bristol, Manchester, and Edinburgh.

Bailey Partnership is seeking experienced Fire Safety Surveyors to conduct FRAEW/EWS1 external wall and internal passive fire safety surveys across the UK.

Established in 1971, Bailey Partnership is a top 150, multi-disciplinary consultancy working with clients across the UK and Europe. The external surveys involve investigating external wall systems for combustibility and flame spread, requiring good understanding of building technology. Internal surveys include compartmentation, fire door inspections, and fire risk assessments (FRA).

The role involves providing technical input, leading survey teams, and ensuring timely, high-quality survey reports. Training will be provided, including courses on RICS EWS1 assessment and fire safety.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Membership with RICS, CABE, CIOB, RIBA, or similar
• Strong knowledge of building pathology or technology
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership experience
• Knowledge of fire safety, FRAEW/EWS1

The role offers a salary between £60,000 and £70,000, depending on experience, along with pension and benefits. Travel is involved, with hybrid working options available. Regular office visits are expected.
