Job summary

Hamilton Woods Associates is seeking a Fire Safety Surveyor in Nottinghamshire on a temporary to permanent basis. You will oversee external contractors to maintain fire safety standards across residential properties and ensure compliance with fire safety legislation.

The role requires coordinating works, managing contractor performance and maintaining records of compliance. A full UK driving licence is essential for site visits and liaison with residents and teams.

• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and produce reports when required
• Liaise with contractors, internal departments and residents regarding fire safety works and compliance matters

Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Fire Safety Surveyor on a temporary - permanent basis, to join an organisation based in Nottinghamshire.

Duties of the Fire Safety Surveyor role will include, but is not limited to:

• Oversee external contractors to ensure fire safety standards are maintained across residential properties
• Ensure housing stock remains compliant with relevant fire safety legislation and regulations
• Coordinate and monitor fire safety works, ensuring completion within agreed budgets and timescales
• Manage contractor performance, ensuring services are delivered to the required standards
• Assist with the procurement, delivery and ongoing management of fire safety contracts
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and produce reports when required
• Liaise with contractors, internal departments and residents regarding fire safety works and compliance matters

Identify potential fire safety risks and ensure appropriate remedial actions are implementedThe successful candidate for the Fire Safety Surveyor will have:
