Axis CLC is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee active and passive fire protection works across multiple sites in Essex. You will manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, timely delivery, and quality in line with fire safety regulations.

Responsibilities include leading site teams and subcontractors, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and promoting a culture of safety. We offer a competitive package and opportunities for progression.

Formación

• Proven experience supervising active and passive fire protection works within social housing.
• Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems including fire stopping, compartmentation, fire doors, cavity barriers, and intumescent coatings.
• Experience overseeing active fire protection installations including fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, smoke control systems, and related works.
• Demonstrable experience managing direct labour and subcontractors to deliver work safely, on time and to the required quality.
• Good understanding of current fire safety legislation, Building Regulations and relevant British Standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead site-based teams and subcontractors, ensuring fire safety installations are completed safely, compliantly and to high quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients, operatives and project stakeholders to drive programme performance and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Deliver toolbox talks, risk assessments and site inspections to promote safety and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate site activity, manage subcontractors and liaise with Resident Liaison Officers, clients and internal teams to ensure a smooth experience for residents.
