Recruitment 99 is pleased to offer this Fire Safety Service Manager role.
Objectives of the role
Develop and implement strategies to improve company performance and growth by:
- Maintaining strong client relationships and developing new service and maintenance contracts.
- Driving growth in the Residential Sprinkler market for installation and maintenance.
- Demonstrating technical problem-solving skills.
- Planning logistics efficiently for installation and maintenance teams.
- Leading and training external resources to seek new opportunities.
- Supporting company projects and objectives as part of the management team.
- Reporting on performance indicators to senior management.
- Managing external contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and compliance.
- Ensuring adherence to company processes and participating in external audits for compliance, including BRE Product Management, Health & Safety, and ISO9001:2015.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and follow up on inquiries.
- Develop existing client relationships and increase Service Agreement clients.
- Prepare quotations within set timeframes.
- Attend client, site, and project meetings.
- Ensure engineers have the necessary resources and continuity of work.
- Schedule and book service works using internal systems.
- Apply technical skills to provide cost-effective solutions.
- Order materials and hire equipment, ensuring profitability.
- Maintain H&S and Quality Management System compliance.
- Create and manage health and safety documentation.
- Manage external subcontractors and resourcing.
- Coordinate with internal departments like Accounts, H&S, and Quality Management to ensure compliance and certification maintenance.
- Work with senior management to maintain certifications like LPS 1048.
- Follow company policies on H&S and employee conduct.
- Participate in occasional overtime, including emergency call-outs.
