Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting experienced Fire Safety Officers on a temporary, ongoing basis for a prestigious venue in London's Docklands.

This role would suit individuals from a fire, security or health and safety background who are looking to join a team to work 4 days on, 4 days off on a rolling weekly basis. Shifts are 12 hours long, with the option for overtime.

The responsibilities of the Fire Safety Officer is to ensure that the venue health and safety is adhered to in line with rules and regulations.

You should be able to demonstrate skills and experience in understanding emergency procedures and be confident in instructing visitors and staff in an event of a fire or emergency evacuation.

Other responsibilities will include ensuring fire and safety equipment is functional, making sure emergency exits are free from obstruction, issuing hot work permits, recording, test and carrying out fire risk assessments and safety training. Investigating alarms any alarms that go off in the venue.
