The role is to undertake all fire safety management duties, manage the FRA remedial works programme, act as the lead for property fires, liaise with the local Fire Authority, and work with the Building Safety Manager in managing over 10,000 properties, including high-rise accommodation.

Description
Ensure the effective delivery of all fire safety works to a high level of customer satisfaction and legal compliance. Provide assurance to the Head of Design & Delivery, Executive Management team, and the relevant Corporate Board and Housing Advisory Board on all fire safety compliance matters.
Support and advise on procurement of contractors for fire safety works, drafting work specifications and quality standards where needed. Participate in tender valuation and contractor selection as required. Provide ongoing advice on the competency of contractors to undertake works and ensure robust contract management by monitoring quality of work to determine compliance with fire safety legislation and guidance.
Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to health and safety standards.
Manage the budget and resources of the FRA project.
Provide technical advice on fire safety issues.
Develop and implement effective FRA strategies and policies.
Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on FRA matters.
Foster a culture of fire safety awareness within the organisation.
