  • Manage the installation, maintenance and testing of fire safety systems, including alarms, sprinklers and emergency lighting.
  • Lead contractor and supplier management, driving performance, quality and value for money.
  • Develop and deliver fire safety training, guidance and awareness programmes for colleagues and residents.
  • Lead fire incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to embed fire safety into operational activities and decision‑making.
  • Provide expert advice, reporting and assurance to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Lead, coach and develop a fire safety team, creating a high‑performing culture focused on safety, compliance and customer service.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Significant experience in fire safety, property compliance, housing maintenance or a similar compliance–focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of fire safety legislation, regulations and risk management principles.
  • Proven experience managing contracts and contractor performance.
  • Experience leading and developing teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive performance improvements.
  • Experience managing budgets and delivering value for money.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
Qualifications Required:
  • Relevant qualification in construction, property services or a related discipline (Degree or Level 6 equivalent preferred).
  • Project Management or Management qualification (desirable).
  • NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification (desirable).
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
