Job description

Our client, Bristol City Council, is looking for a Fire Safety Manager to join their team.

Qualifications: Level 4 or Level 5 qualification in fire safety or relevant field.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of the building, primarily for the safety of all occupants of multi-occupied residential buildings, including low-rise residential buildings, high-rise residential buildings, and supported housing for older people (SHOP).
• Meet statutory obligations for fire safety.
• Contribute to the Council's fire safety strategies and policies.
• Input on building safety policies and procedures.
• Develop and update fire safety strategies and work on fire safety aspects of building safety cases.
