Job description

FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for a Senior Fire Engineer, this is working with a Consultancy firm in London. A permanent position with salary negotiable up to circa £60,000 depending onexperience, plus benefits. There will be some travel involved in the role in visiting client sites with the UK and Ireland. As a member of the senior Fire Team you will have good negotiation and project leadership skills, experienced on fire safety standards and regulations

Responsibilities

• Advising on all fire safety for large public and private developments
• Happy to speak at events and attend standards committee meetings providing litigation support in relation to fire safety for commercial, residential, healthcare, airports etc
• Technical expertise delivering quality fire safety solutions
• Able to lead project teams
• Knowledge of the principles of smoke control and means of escape & knowledge of design codes, standards and guidance within the industry

Key skills and experience required for the Fire Safety Engineer role

• Have structural fire engineering experience and CFD experience
• Hold a degree or similar in Fire Engineering
• Experienced in delivering fire engineering solutions for UK projects
• Have financial/budget & proposals experience (desirable)
• Good communication, negotiation and leadership skills
