Fire Safety Consultant – London (remote) - £70,000





I am currently representing a fast-growing, forward-thinking fire safety consultancy. Since launching, the business has doubled in headcount and continues to scale rapidly across the UK. Their consultant team works fully remotely, with strong support and collaboration from engineering teams in the office.





My client is committed to quality, innovation, and internal development — backed by a strong training budget and a company culture that champions progression and autonomy.





Salary package:
  • £50,000 - £70,000

Role Responsibilities
  • Provide expert fire safety advice and consultancy services across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments
  • Lead on fire risk assessments, technical reviews, and compliance documentation
  • Deliver EWS1 forms and high-rise building assessments
  • Work closely with clients, design teams, and stakeholders to guide fire safety strategy and solutions
  • Stay current with UK legislation, standards, and emerging trends in fire safety
  • Mentor and support junior consultants or engineers where appropriate



Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in a fire safety consultancy role
  • Minimum Level 4 Fire Safety qualification
  • Experience delivering EWS1 assessments is essential
  • Excellent understanding of fire safety legislation, Approved Document B, and associated guidance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider remote team
