Irwin and Colton in the United Kingdom is seeking a Fire Safety and Compliance Surveyor on a 12-month fixed-term contract to strengthen fire safety across residential properties. You will inspect fire doors, manage remediation actions, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The role requires knowledge of fire safety legislation, building regulations, and effective stakeholder communication as you oversee contractors and maintain detailed records to safeguard residents.

Formación

• Strong experience in fire safety inspection, building safety, or housing maintenance.
• Knowledge of fire safety legislation, building regulations, and compartmentation surveying.
• Relevant certifications such as CIOB Level 6 Certificate in Fire Safety or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out fire door inspections and oversee replacements and remedial actions.
• Act swiftly on fire risk assessments to mitigate hazards and safeguard occupants.
• Oversee contractors to ensure work meets required safety standards.
• Maintain meticulous records supporting building safety and compliance.
• Communicate proactively with customers and stakeholders to build trust and deliver safety solutions.
