Fire Safety Compliance / Fire Protection / Detection Service Sales Business Development Manager

Location: Scotland and North East (other regions: Yorkshire/North West, Sussex and South Coast, South Wales, or South East and Home Counties)

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 DOE + Commission and Permanent Benefits

Car Allowance: £6,000 or Company Car

Commission: Yes - On Revenue, well rewarded (if have Fire Safety sales exp.)

Leads: 20% provided, with opportunities to generate new clients as 80% focus

Industry: Must have Fire compliance sales experience selling Fire Risk assessments, Passive Fire solutions, Fire Alarm systems, Fire service contracts, or extinguishers at an account level

Sales: Capable of generating £600,000 to £2 million of Fire sales in UK

Are you a dynamic and driven sales professional passionate about Fire safety/Fire compliance? Join our supportive and growing team as a Fire Compliance Sales Business Development Manager! You can sell across verticals like Hospitals, health, National Accounts, Shopping centres, Leisure, Retail, Data centres, or other sectors where you have contacts to secure contracts for your FIA/BAFE Fire protection company.

About the Company: They are a national dedicated Fire Protection and Detection company committed to building a passionate team of sellers. Their mission is to provide comprehensive fire compliance solutions, ensuring client safety and peace of mind. They seek local people who can sell, consult, listen, and become their Fire Compliance partner. If you've worked for another Fire Detection/Fire Protection company but feel unsupported or unrewarded, this could be a fresh start for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Selling a range of fire safety products and maintenance contract services, including fire extinguishers, fire alarms, passive fire protection, and full fire compliance packages such as risk assessments.
  • Selling maintenance and new systems, offering tailored Fire Protection solutions to meet client needs.
  • Managing a targeted area with 20% of leads provided, while proactively seeking new business opportunities. This is a sales role, not account management, and involves hunting and development as a Business Development Manager.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to drive fire compliance sales, achieve new business targets, and expand the client base.
