Fire Safety Compliance / Fire Protection / Detection Service Sales Business Development Manager

Location: Scotland and North East (other regions: Yorkshire/North West, Sussex and South Coast, South Wales, or South East and Home Counties)

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 DOE + Commission and Permanent Benefits

Car Allowance: £6,000 or Company Car

Commission: Yes - On Revenue and well rewarded (if have the Fire Safety sales exp.)

Leads: 20% provided, with opportunities to generate new clients as 80% focus

Industry: MUST have Fire compliance sales experience selling Fire Risk assessment, Passive Fire solutions, Fire Alarm systems, Fire service contracts, or extinguishers at an account level

Sales: Would be used to generating £600,000 to £2 million of Fire sales in UK.

Join our supportive and growing team as a Fire Compliance Sales Business Development Manager! You can sell across verticals such as Hospitals, health, National Accounts, Shopping centres, Leisure, Retail, Data centres, and other sectors where you have contacts to secure contracts for your FIA/BAFE Fire protection company.

Company: They are a national dedicated Fire Protection and Detection (Fire Safety/Fire Compliance) company committed to building a passionate team of sellers. Their mission is to provide comprehensive fire compliance solutions, ensuring client safety and peace of mind. They seek local people who can sell, consult, listen to companies, and become their Fire Compliance partner. You might have worked for another Fire Detection/Fire Protection company but seek better support or rewards.

What You'll Be Doing as a Fire Business Development Manager/Area Sales Manager (Fire Solutions):

  1. Selling a range of fire safety products and maintenance contract services, including fire extinguishers, fire alarms, passive fire protection, and full fire compliance packages such as risk assessments.
  2. Selling maintenance and new systems, offering tailored Fire Protection solutions to meet client needs (technical knowledge not mandatory, but experience with FIA or BAFE companies is essential).
  3. Managing a targeted area with 20% of leads provided, while also seeking new business opportunities. This is a sales role, not account management, and involves hunter and development activities.
  4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to drive fire compliance sales, achieve targets, and expand the client base.
