Job summary

Thomas Gray Ltd partners with a well-established housing organisation to appoint a Fire Safety & Compliance Advisor to support fire safety across homes and wider property portfolio. This hands-on role sits in a specialist team to maintain safe, compliant buildings and to advise colleagues across the organisation.

You will support the fire risk assessment programme, undertake inspections and audits, monitor fire safety actions and assist with compliance against current legislation.

Qualifications

• Recognised fire safety qualification.
• Experience in social housing, housing or public sector preferred.
• Strong IT and reporting skills with ability to translate technical requirements into practical actions.

Responsibilities

• Support the fire risk assessment programme across the portfolio.
• Undertake inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
• Monitor fire safety actions and assist with compliance against current legislation.
• Provide practical fire safety advice and training to colleagues.
• Support incident investigations and collaborate with asset management and development teams.
