Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Fire Safety professional to ensure compliance with the Fire Safety Order 2005 and related standards. The role supports divisions and directorates in meeting fire safety obligations while assisting the Trust Fire Safety Manager to foster a proactive fire prevention culture.

The successful candidate will provide expert knowledge on Fire Safety Order compliance and HTM 05 for projects, risk profiling, risk assessments and risk registers.

Qualifications

• Experience of NHS Healthcare Fire safety and senior level fire safety enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory and support service to enable compliance with fire legislation and best practices.
• Assist the Trust Fire Safety Manager and promote a positive fire prevention culture.
• Ensure protective and preventive fire measures are adhered to.
• Work with NHS staff at all levels with attention to detail and compassionate communication.
