Job summary

Sevenoaks School is seeking an experienced Fire Safety Advisor to support the delivery of a comprehensive fire safety management system across its school sites, properties and activities. Working with the Health & Safety Manager, you will help ensure compliance with fire safety legislation and best practice while promoting a positive safety culture.

You will lead the development of policies, coordinate risk assessments, and oversee fire alarm systems, evacuations and training across the campus.

Qualifications

• Experience managing fire safety in a complex environment.
• Excellent knowledge of current fire safety legislation and best practice.
• Proven ability to provide practical fire safety solutions.
• Memberships in professional bodies (e.g. Institute of Fire Engineers) preferred.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Health & Safety Manager and departments across the school, you will help ensure compliance with fire safety legislation, industry standards and best practice while promoting a positive safety culture throughout the organisation
